Re: Strange Message??



Hi Karthik,

Nothing to worry about. A complete file system check needs
to be carried out on the harddisk periodically  - how often
this check needs to be carried out depends on how many times
you have mounted the harddisk (This is the mount count) and whether 
your machine has been shutdown improperly. If the mount count has 
equalled the maximum allowed between checks, then the fsck program 
will be automatically run to verify the file system. So that is what 
happenned. You will see such a message periodically.
