Re: mod_auth_mysql

mod_auth_mysql does not like the PHP mod in apache try compiling it
before you compile the php mod into Apache. Had worked for me ...

I vaguely remember seeing a note on this at Zeev's web site URL in MySQL
manual and also some references to this in PHP mailing list RTMA
