Hi,
Absence of rcpthosts will permit routing in either way without
any restrictions. rcpthosts imposes the restrictions.
The FAQ 3.1 and 3.2 explains the use of rcpthosts. Please see=20
/var/qmail/doc/FAQ if you use a var-qmail package.
Typically,
at a gateway you need not use rcpthosts or you need to put all
the names of all mailhosts and all upstream mail relays in it.=20
( ie the full set of hostnames for which mail traffic is
permitted thru the gateway)=20
On a mailhost you need to put the name(s)
by which it is known only.=20
qmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxx is the qmail mailing list. You can
subscribe by sending a null mail to
qmail-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx=20
