Re: Installing RH 6.0 from CHIP CD



    1 gb is sufficient for linux. Before all make sure that both the primary
and logical(Extended) drives R FAT16 not fat32 or ntfs or anything of that
sort. U will run in to prob when primary is not a fat16 but can make up with
logical non-fat16.
    with the rest 1 gb allot 32 mb for swap and the remaining-1mb for / .
Even after substracting 1 mb if it says not enough space keep on
substracting 1 by 1 (One  time due to the harddisk type .. .. .. it was
necessary for me to go till 100 mb. but that was a segate 8.5 GB)
boot from any sorce both R one and the same. I advice U to take custom
installation.
