Do you have the PCQ March 99 CD? I had written and included a utility to
set up your DNS for you. It is in /mnt/cdrom/pcq-linux/dns. Just run it
without parameters to see the usage info.

After it creates the files, copy named.conf (for bind 8, shipped with rhl
5.2) and named.boot (for bind 4, shipped with previous RHLs) to /etc, and
all other named files created to /var/named.

Since you say that you are not connected to the Internet, edit
/etc/named.conf and remove the zone info with named.ca in it.

Restart named. Done.

Let me know if you have any problems with it.
