This is not in the domain of sendmail It's basically controlled by the
mailing client.
Eg, for pine, check the /etc/pine.conf[.fixed] file(s).

	Here, the sendmail config files help. I am not sure which files
are to be changed. You have to change the parameters which will allow
local machines to use the Linux machine's sendmail server as their relay
server.
