Yes it is as simple It has worked for me without any problem. Also u can try
run xf86setup it is a graphics interface a very easy and interactive setup
process.
1. click card and select SiS86215c
2.select chipset =SIS86C205
3.select ur monitor Hr and vr Range by choosing 1024x738
save and exit
startx
Join the successful SiS6215 user club....
