   If you have Redhat 5.x then you need the glibc2 version. Also, there is no need to run the preinst.sh. You can copy the XF86_SVGA into /usr/X11R6/bin directory. Then run xf86config. It's quite helpful. Choose your make of card even if the AGP version is not present. And say yes to set the link to the X Server i.e. XF86_SVGA. Please send your make & version of linux as well as the make of your card if this does not work. You can also check if your card is supported at the xfree86 site.
