Write a small program named .fetchmailrc at root level

set daemon=0
poll giasbg01.vsnl.net.in with protocol POP3:
no dns, aka domain.com
user username  is * here
password password


abd then use

/usr/bin/fetchmail -a -d 0 -N $*
