Hi,
Was trying to install a new NE2k PCI card based on Via 82C926. Using Red
Hat 5.2....the card is set to PCI mode...and autoprobe during setup
auto-detects the card.
However, the following is being echoed on to the screen with a monotonous
regularity once the machine is re-started:
eth0 : timeout waiting for Tx RDC
dmesg shows the following:--
ne2k-pci.c PCI NE2000 clone `VIA 82C926` at I/O 0x6000, IRQ 10
eth0 : PCI NE2000 found at 0x6000, IRQ 10, 08:00:30:01:69:57
eth0: timeout waiting for Tx RDC.
BTW, the machine is yet to be connected to the n/w. So, what do I make of
this message....?? Can someone help me....
TIA,
Indra.
