I have a Trident PCI 9680 and have also installed Linux on a system having a
Trident 9750 AGP card. On both the systems, I was able to run X at all
resolutions except at 640x480 (32-bit). 640x480 (8-bit &16-bit) and 800x600
(8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit) work perfectly. Do you have the same problem? If
not, could you send me your XF86Config file.
