Re: Cache and linux



i have also observed the same thing.in fact if i check virtual memory
startx windows and shut it down the xwindows does not free all the
memory.i had 10ms used before starting x after starting x i had 60ms used
and after shutting it down 35ms used.where did the 25ms go?
