When a linux box initialises, script files in the /etc/rc directory are
initialised the first to be initialised is the rc script which calls on other
scripts such as the rc.sysinit script and others
When u login to ur shell the .bashrc (if u r using bash ) script is
initialised.
the directory structure used above is valid for redhat distributions only
