Re: Linux Startup file



  Hi there,
 
    The stratup used depends on the shell that you are using. At the
prompt type:
 
 echo $shell
  
 Now, if you are using Red Hat, and did not change the shell, you should
see:
  
 /bin/bash
 
 In that case, open your .bashrc file, and you will see the entry for
path. You can modify this path. After modifcation, logout, and then login.
It should work.
