The AMD K6 is an excellent processor for Linux, and gives P-II class
performance at least in linux.
AGP with 3D? You can use Rendition Verite 2200, an excellent 3D card,
costs 1700 with 4MB VRAM, SVHS input, TV Out, RISC Core, the works. If 3D
is not a criteria, you can go in for the Classic S3Virge cards, an all time
linux favorite (same price).
The TRIDENT AGP cards are supported but are extremely buggy. You can also
try The Intel 740, but source level support is unavailable for it. The SiS
AGP is also supported but extremely buggy.
