The libpcap library provides interface to your network card. There are a few
small tutorials available on web, but they wont't teach you how to use the
library. Wht you can do is to read the man page of libpcap and then read the
source code of tcpdump utility (it uses libpcap ) that will act as a sort of
example.
If you can more clearly specify what is that you want to use libpcap for
then I may be able to provide you some more help.
