No, it wont work, Yamha snd crd always have a problem of detection in linux,
try this , using sndconfig select crystal 423x chipset-give io530h, i5, d0,1
and edit your /etc/conf.modules to change io to 534h, save and  then restart
ur pc and check , if it doesnt, create /etc/isapnp.conf , using pnpdump and
try, fr more info refer man isapnp.conf ,isapnp or pnpdump.
