did your university recently change the license of MOSIX to an open model 
(GPL v2) ?

If so, then I must congratulate the mosix team on making a choice which will 
certainly push mosix forward with a higher momentum!

MOSIX does all these and much more. You can #ifdef it, load/unload
the module and scale to any size config, with no scaling overhead.
