Linux advocacy advisory

One of the frequent criticisms of windows on linux advocacy lists is that
windows is a bad multi user system, where people are always logged in as
root. The linux paradigm is to login as a normal user and become root only
when necessary. With Windows NT, Microsoft started supporting it, by
separating the "administrator" from the normal user. But one still had to
log out and relogin in. In other words it had no "su" command.

After I installed windows 2000 and played around with it a bit, I found
that win2k supports the graphical equivalent of "su".

I can now run a "root" explorer from my desktop by entering the root passwd.

So, the next time you are selling linux against windows, watch out for this
one. And yeah, my favorite reason for using anything other than windows is:
the freedom from Mr clippy :)
