Hello everybody,

We can't configure the X-windows on a system running on Intel Desktop
M/B having 815e chipset. 

Configuration:
RH 6.2
Intel 815e original M/B
PIII 697 MHz
256 MB RAM
Monitor Compaq V45 (supported by Linux)

Did following:
RH 7.0 could detect the onboard chipset as some "Intel graphics". But we
have to stick to RH 6.2 for some specific reasons.

Tried X-configurator....only runs VGA16....hopeless.
Tried XF86Setup.....selected SVGA server......Only 600x480 runs. Peculiarly
XF86Setup s/w runs in 800x600 resol.

Plz help if nebody got a clue.....
