Serially. Unless you have reasonably high bandwidth and are downloading
from different sites, parallely serves no purpose epart from slowing down
the downloads.

If you *need* to do things parallely, you have to do a  wget -b for each
URL (-b sends it into the background and also causes a log file to be
written).

Haven't run across that kind of capability yet, though rsync would
probably be a better tool for this.
