On Wed, Feb 28, 2001, the greycells of Saurabh Garg expressed:

No, basically he did not [understand/go through] the posting rules of LI-*.
If he would have had done so, I doubt if he would have posted it here. Yes,
you are right, there is no need to bash/ridicule him, when he realises his mistake,
he surely will refrain from doing so.

Talking of Spamming was not at all wise, as that fellow had never intended that
way. Spamming is not only related to you receiveing unwanted mail, but also with
the intentions the sender has while sending the mail. Someone could have politely
pointed out this fact to him, instead of grinding him.

Consider the case of Engineering colleges in Maharashtra. Out of the total colleges,
only a couple are descent, in the view that they have campus placements. Most
of them don't, and hence the students are forced to look out other sources of
getting a job.

Going to US is not at all bad, if you get a descent livelihood there. Nearly in
every aspect of life, the USA stands to the right of India (now someone don't
point out that right and wrong are relative terms, and not universal definitions).

I wonder what the

<quote from Mimd-Sport>i Brains do exist outside the IIT campuses'. :) </quote>

Nothing, nor even the Govt. can find a solution to this problem, unless and until,
the Engg. colleges in the country are brought up to the standard mark. Achieving
this is extremely difficult, given that most of them are owned by politicians.
