Re: Experience the New Windows

i hope the more friendly linux gets, more applications
will be available as RPMs. i'm not lazy, but i wouldnt
like to learn electronics and build my own tv to view
tv programs.

i have just one thing to say: if you want the user to
compile the code to use tht program he needs, linux
will flop in the longterm. you may use as many
interestin quotes, witticisms, jokes, etc. but this
thing called userfriendliness is not a joke. if a poet
wants to use a computer to type his poems, and add
more fonts, more software like dictionaries, more
intelligent spellcheckers and similar stuff to help
him in his work, and if he's not interested in
learning to compile code, you cant blame him. you cant
blame the user because he's not curious about the
geeky things you admire. he's just a user.

i dont think it's possible to convince you. so i'll
withdraw. i feel very sad, really.
