Support for Servlet by Apache Web Server

I need a help. I would like to know if Apache Web
Server 1.3 and 2.0 support Java Servlet API . I have
written a servlet(jsdk2.0) program which accesses
mysql database and I want to put this program in
apache server which runs on linux platform. Can you
please help me? I am really very sorry if I have
disturbed you.
