Re: [blug] IBM releases Mwave/ACP modem driver

More on this:

I have owned this notebook (IBM Thinkpad 770) since 1997, and still use it
because it works well, and people are amazed to see Linux running on it at
high speed, when Windows crawls on their P3 600 MHz notebooks (mine is a
P1 233 Mhz notebook).

But everytime, I have had to eat crow because "ah, but the internal modem
does not work".

Not anymore. I am currently connected via that modem, for the first time
since I bought this notebook and put Linux on it! And it is rock steady
and holds nicely at 45333 bps.

Thank you, IBM!
