Re: How to get inet up on linux



Dear Vishwas,

Check the following:

1. In Netscape Menu> Edit> Preferences> Advanced> Proxies> Direct
Connection to the Internet.
2. In "/etc/resolv.conf" your nameserver(DNS name) is entered, if not
enter the nameserver of your ISP.( You can even try putting 202.54.6.1)
3. Make sure that DNS is required for normal operation is not
checked.(to see this type netconf at command prompt and go to
nameservers)

I think this will work out!
