if RedHat is all that you've put on your machines maybe you can give SuSE
a try. It has options to increase security (but I wouldn't recommend it on
your firewall). On the 8 machines I've installed here (some with RedHat)
I've been there only once, the first time to install and configure (except
mine where I'm working at for last 3 months).
Redhat does have a queer way of configurations, but it's OK if you follow
that.
And with less than 100 users we are always called up when our
mailserver/proxy goes down for even a few minutes (which is often). It
runs Irix.
