Why did Bruce Perens backtrack from the Open Source Initiative ?
His single action shows that Open Source Software == Free Software.
There cannot be a half way thing.  What has happened to the Netscape-
source opening up ?  They did a halfway job and it is going to be 
curtains now....Better Free than Open Source.  Open source will be
used as Corporate whitewash to cover up bad code at the first
instance.  Better Free than getting stuck in the tarpit of bad code.

Can U elaborate this point ?  I want to counter this after a clear
