Udhay - being a CAUCE member (and one of the contributors to Phil Agre's
spam faq, you know what to do when you get a spam - Use your largest
mallet on them)

I think I know what's going on - Inprise's local agent in India is the
moron who spammed you. He then somehow got the weird idea that you have
also signed up for this conference, and forwarded your mail id (with god
knows how many more linuxers) to Inprise Australia.

Write a letter to this guy, plus the corporate contact addresses (listed
on the website), plus postmaster and abuse addresses at inprise.com and
borland.com - strongly protesting this. cc news.admin.net-abuse.email as
well (that should set off a little firestorm).

Include full headers, of course :)

This appears to be inertia marketing - sending you a good you never asked
for, in the vague hope that you will like it and pay for it, and will be
too lazy to return it. Sleazy marketing at work here.
