Application Servers Hosting

Hello Folks,

Need info on Application Server Hosting:

If I am hosting application servers for clients all over world here in
Delhi,  and I am hosting say 4-8 application servers on which around
500-600 clients are going to login to each server simultaneously. What
capacity of Internet Link would be required for this?  Also considering
the backbone infrastructure of India, is it advisable to  locate the
servers in India, vis -a-vis in Europe/US? Talking in terms of
responses/performance/uptime of the link.

Pls state your experiences if any, in this line.
