RedHat 7.1 Installation blues

When I try to install RedHat Linux 7.1 I get the following error :

Traceback(innermostlast):

I only get this error when I don't choose "Skip X configuration". So for
sure X windows is creating the problem. If choose "skip x configuration"
every thing installs fine. and when linux boots I get the normal shell
prompt. I wanna have GUI so need X for it. I was also unable to find X11
directory in /etc so I can't configure X manually. I was told by my friend
that config file for X lies in /etc/X11. what should I do.

I am running P-III 700 Mhz, 512MB RAM(1Mb shared by my Intel 810
motherboard), I also have 17" LG Flatron 775FT monitor. My 3-button Logitech
serial mouse is being detected as 2 button serial mouse. I have 17GB hdd and
I have left 4gb in the starting of the disk for linux. The partitions are
ok, no overlapping etc. I also have one more problem, during installation
disk druid doesn't allow me to make logical partitions while I can create
them using partition magic. Linux can boot from a logical partition so I'd
like to make swap space and the "/" partitions as logical so that I can save
the primary partitions which will be needed by Windows 2000. Currently I am
using Win98 SE. I am planning to have RH7.1, Win98se, Win2k all three.
