Centre screen software ?

HI List,
   I am using windoz 2k & Redhat Linux 7.1 on a workstation dual boot..
Now i uses 1280x1024 resolution in win2k & 1152x864 resolution in RH Linux,
Unfortunately i am unable to tune it 1280x1024 in linux,
So every time i boots' in linux Or windoz i have to change my settings...
through monitor buttons..:-(
Is there any software to control this thing .. in linux,
One of my  colleague told me that  there is some center screen software.
Please tell me where i can look this software for  a cirrus logic card.
