There are many ways to reboot your linux machine.

Way 1.

At $ prompt give this command
shutdown -r now

or

Way 2.

At $ prompt, you can also give command
init 


or

Way 3.

Just press Ctrl+Alt+Del
Linux box start rebooting itself.
