RE: kernel compile in 2.2.16 on i686



umm.. but it does not build a new vmlinuz. The vmlinuz in /boot is still an
older one.
After giving the error i mentioned below, it exits make saying Error 2.
And i am left without a fresh bootable kernel image!!!
