Linux Family expansion plan@Lucknow : Details required
Dear Raju,
Thanx for support. I have recently started working in Linux and using Red
Hat Linux 6.2, and I am comfortable with this only till now. Could you
kindly tell me what type of infrastructure will I need to start a Mailing
List. Please include Hardware and Network Cost. Apart from that if I have a
Cable Connection from Dishnet and a P III machine with 128 MB RAM 20 GB
Hard Disk, can I run my own web server/mail server for the Mailing List.
Please tell me what sit backs I can have if I have my own server of the
given specification. In Lucknow the connectivity is fast. Here there is no
Linux base and I want to throw all the Windows out of Lucknow, and believe
me there are many organizations that will welcome Linux if they see a
successful implementation in Lucknow.
Also specify what Configuration will I need on the machine. If yu could
make it step by step I will be able to understand and implement it quickly
otherwise every time I will have to come back to you for the solution.
I hope you and other Devoted Linux Family Members will help me in
establishing another mile stone for Linux at Lucknow.
Thanks a lot
