Re: Telnet ristriction

hi,

you can use two files for that

/etc/hosts.allow (to allow Ip address )

/etc/hosts.deny (to deny IP address)

/etc/hosts.allow:

in.telnetd in.rlogind:<ip address of the host>

you can get n number of methods to do this just go through the man pages
of hosts.allow

/etc/hosts.deny:

in.telnetd in.rlogind:ALL

it will block all hosts for accessing the m/c only hosts.allow will be
allowed to access the m/c.
