StarOffice query

Hi!!
I have installed StarOffice 5.2 on RH6.2.
While installing StarOffice I received this error message:
"adabas files not fully installed"
While opening a new database i receive this message:
"odbclib.so files missing"
I am able to create new tables, queries, forms, etc.
But will these error messages affect my work?
Is there something wrong with the installation.
Please enlghten me at the earliest!!
