i also get the same message on two of my machines - after i updated to
rhl6.2; did not have this in rhl6.1 and lower. rhl7.0 also continues with
the same problem, except it seems to happen less often. i get the message
not only when doing large transfers over the net, but also when i write
cd's at higher than 4x. of course, while cd writing, i am now unplugging
the ethernet cable and fixing the problem (ahh, looks like a windoze
fix!?). would like to know why this is happening and how to fix it. tips
appreciated. both machines have intel ether-express 100 cards and my
message is 'eth0 reports no resources'; also, when i plug the machine into
a 10mbps (only) network port, the message goes away.
