need help setting up a server

Hi folks,

   Friends of mine in Madras need help setting up a Linux web server.
   They are total Linux newbies and I doubt if they can survive a
   debian install without some handholding. Any good samaritans be
   able to spare time to help them out? They can get the box to any
   mutually convenient location, but they do not have install CD's.

   Folks who can help can get in touch with V. Anand (who's copied on

ps: I recommended debian because I use it and find it stable, feel free
to use <distro of your choice>
