which is why i mentioned the 'improvement'. it is one thing to recognize
the vendor (only means some card from that vendor is supported) which is
what rhl 6.2 did; the actual card is now recognized (meaning someone has
added the particular card id to the database) - but very helpfully
announced as not supported. i suppose adding the card to the database is
the first step towards support...
