There are lot of people makes SMP system.
Recently I hace encountered from Wipro. The system I tested contains
PIII 700 Mhz with 256 L2 cache - 2 Nos.
Ultra Wide SCSI RAID based on Mylex Corp.
On board Ultra2 Wide SCSI
18GB *5 Ultra3 disk configured for RAID 5
4 GB SCSI DAT
etc
etc.
It is having Intel MB with GX chp set
(440GX).
I did not conduct any benchmark yet. I think you may try WIpro.
Even if you want to assemble you can make it if you try hard a bit.
