Do you have just Lin running on the puter? It seems to me like its a problem
with your BIOS settings and not with your OS.
Try using a DOS /QNX Bootdisk and confirm that its a problem with your Linux.
If it was some problem with LiLO you would have seen some msg like LI / LIL- or
something.
If you weren't able to use your DOS/QNX disk, try loading Setup Defaults.
