in my PC, it gives a very bad refresh rate. i feel an express slideshow
of the movie from the VCD. the registartion part is dumb too. i think
for 10bucks he could very well give it as freeware.

i asked this 'coz i wanted to try out someting like the winducks
startup and shutdown logo. so is it possible for zgv to display in the
front and init to go on in the background?
i think sth was xsri  will work for this. xsri displays the pic on an X
window and leaves it at that. the pic stays as long as you dont redraw
on that. redhat uses xsri for that redhat logo in gdmlogin.
