Offline Mailing

Hi,

Thanks to those who replied.

	Sendmail works fine now though my From: address is still mangled.
As root I restarted sendmail as 'sendmail -bd -q1m -Fqwerty
-fgautamg@xxxxxxxx' and then sent some mail to my yahoo account. When I
download usinf fetchmail and see the from: field, it still is G.Gautam
and g@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I know an easy workaround:
Have a username as gautamg and my user-domain as vsnl.com in Pine. This
works.
But what's wrong in having a single letter login name? Can some one tell
me what I must do?
