JavaTM 2 is available on Linux?

Dear friends,

  Currently I am using Red Hat 6.0  Java 1.1 is came with that package.
Is Java 2 is available for Linux platform?  Because some of the commands
specific to Java 2 is there in my code.  If any of  you already having
Java 2 for Linux Kindly let me know.
