Let me go on record saying that I am totally opposed to putting up these
books up on the net. I don't know what copyright they are distributed
under. But I strongly suspect that you are in violation of some
copyrights. I urge you to take the books off the net.

For free software to succeed commercial companies (software, hardware,
publishing, service etc.) need to get involved. If more and more people
violate copyrights this way then these companies have no incentive to
publish books because there is no sufficient money making potential in
doing so. If you want good books like this to be published you should
respect the copyright. If you feel that copyrights are evil, you have a
choice. Either use material with less restrictive copyrights or write your
own documents with less restrictive copyrights
(http://www.opencontent.org/).

What money? People downloading this off your site are not paying the
publisher anything.

Remember the 'Free' in 'Free Software' is for Freedom and not "zero cost".
