Clarification

Hi everyone,

I am a new Linux user. Last saturday I attended LUG.

I have some doubts. Can anyone clarify it.

Present Configuration of my system:

Pentium 100 Mhz
16 MB RAM
1.2GB HDD
1.44 FDD
14"Colour Monitor
Installed Version of RedHat 5.0 on Full Disk (No other O/S)
External CDROM (BackPack)
3COM Ethernet Card

Queries :

1. How to mount CDROM ? I have installed my RedHat from External
   CDROM. I logged as root and executed

   # mount /mnt/cdrom
   mount: the Kernal does not recognize /dev/cdrom as a block
   device (maybe 'insmod dricer ?')

   In fstab file I have an entry as
   /dev/cdrom        /mnt/cdrom  iso9600 noauto,ro    0 0

   Is it correct for CDROM Setting. If yes why its not working ?

2. How to Install RH6.1 from External CDROM. Is it sufficient to
   install on 1.2 GB HDD to work as Server ?

3. How to make dual boot (Windows 95 and Linux) with the above setup ?

4. How can I completly remove Linux and make it as windows 95
   machine ?
