Slackware Installation problem

This is reg a problem I am facing while installing Linux Slackware 3.2
(This problem is only with Slackware)

What I did is:

Formatted the hard disk (4 GB). Created one boot floppy (selected bare.i)
and a root floppy (selected color.gz) using RAWRITE.EXE.

Problem I am facing is:

 I am not able to boot the system using the created linux boot floppy.  The
system displays LI and at this stage it hangs.


Can anybody please help me to sort out this problem?
