Oh, screen bigger than the monitor  ? Lucky you, you are getting more than
what you have paid for :-)

Well, that was for fun. The problem could be that you have not set the
correct Horizontal & Vertical Refresh rates. Check the monitor values &
enter the correct values in X Configuration (XF86Setup command in my
Slackware. I dunno 'bout redhat.) Also try pressing "Ctrl Alt +" and "Ctrl
Alt -" to see whether you are getting a better resolution.
