hi list
classpath means classpath and is separate from path. to include .jar
files in 
classpath do this in .bash_profile
CLASSPATH=/home/java/or_whatever_path/abc.jar
PATH=path_to_my_jdk/bin
export PATH CLASSPATH
for .jar and .zip u will have to include filename in the classpath
